2019 has been a great year for so many Grammarwitch authors! And this year, not one but TWO of them have been invited to sign their books at the 2019 Kentucky Book Fair on November 16.
Nancy Grant will be signing Binge Birding: Twenty Days with Binoculars, a natural history/travel account of her solo birding adventure to the Texas Gulf Coast and back, where she encountered and documented more than 150 bird species (along with some spectacular scenery and delicious food). Birdwatching and travel enthusiasts will not want to miss this.
Mick Sullivan will be signing his illustrated children's book, The Meatshower, based on an actual Kentucky event--a different sort of natural history altogether, packed with good-natured humor, an unsolved mystery, and colorful illustrations by Shae Goodlett. Mick's book will delight readers of all ages.
Authors are featured at the Kentucky Book Fair by invitation only (the application process for the 2020 Book Fair opens in January). Mick and Nancy bring the number of Grammarwitch editing clients invited to the KY Book Fair to a total of four (two others in previous years). I am so excited for them!
Admission to the Kentucky Book Fair is free. Make a day of it. Stop by their tables and say hello, and buy a few copies of their books for your favorite book lovers (including you). Kentucky has a rich literary history. Support local Kentucky authors!
